Children's Museum in Carson City to host summer science camp
The Children's Museum in Carson City will host a Summer Science Camp this year. Participants will get hands on lessons in science, art, music and literary projects tied to the Carson River watershed, as well as learning about regional geology and mining, geothermal and solar energy, biomes of Northern Nevada and hot air balloons.
The Science Camp is sponsored by Southwest Gas.
The camp is $100 per child for Children's Museum of Northern Nevada members and $150 per child for non-members.
The camp is June 24-28, 2019, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
