Pioneer Prom Highlights
On Saturday, April 29, Pioneer High School students danced the night away at their prom. The event took place in the 1864 Grand Ballroom located on the second floor of the Brewery Arts Center.
The beautiful Carson City landmark was filled with music, lights, bubbles, sparkling stars, laughter, and fun on the dance floor. The photo booth was a fun place for students to pose in their stunning attire. Students also displayed their karaoke skills and voted for a prom king and queen.
In addition to all the dancing, students were able to sample some tasty fare from Q’s Barbecue and Bodine’s. Students learned that their counselor, Cary Jordan, had "mad" DJ skills, even the staff danced to retro beats.
Judging by the smiles on all the faces, this was definitely the best prom yet! On behalf of the students and staff at Pioneer High School, a special thanks goes to the Brewery Arts Center, PHS staff chaperones, Steve Corda, and Monica Ward for making a magical evening.
