Reno Chalk Art & Music Festival returns in July
Get ready to Chalk and Roll! The Reno Chalk Art & Music Festival is back and bigger than ever a year after being canceled due to COVID-19. This year’s fun-filled event will run from Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11 in the west parking lot of the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.
Over the course of three days, amateur and professional artists will transform pavement into spectacular masterpieces while they battle for prizes in categories such as Best Use of Color, Best Use of 3D and Best Reproduction of a Master’s Work.
Reno’s fastest growing art event will also feature local arts and craft vendors, a variety of food and drinks and live entertainment. This year’s musical lineup includes Jeremy Cornwell, Whesli, Eddie Cotton, Eric Anderson and Henry Undercover, JP Soars, David Gerald and Onoleigh Pommier.
As the Reno Chalk Art & Music Festival approaches, the Atlantis will continue to work closely with local and public health officials to ensure the latest mandates are being strictly followed.
“Since the beginning of this pandemic, we have been deeply committed to providing a safe environment for our guests and team members,” said Cheraz Ecker, general manager of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. “We feel this outdoor event in our spacious parking lot will be the perfect way for our community to celebrate art, music and most importantly each other after an unprecedented year.”
