Beginner Yoga Class at Carson City Yoga
The Beginner Yoga class is a course for those new to yoga and for those who have tried yoga and are ready to renew their practice. Mary Kay is skillfull in working with all body types. The class will focus on self acceptance of the body, providing support to enjoy the pose with the use of props when needed. The instructor is Mary Kay Raponi.
An intention of gratitude, curiosity and relaxation is offered in the class while you experience:
— Foundational poses to increase strength and stretch your muscles safely.
— The use of props such as blankets and blocks to support your body in the poses.
— How the breath is used to support the body in yoga
— A simple take-home yoga routine with handouts.
When: Thursdays
