Overdrive workshop at the Carson City Library
Carson City Library will host an OverDrive Workshop on Thursday, February 25, at 3 p.m. in the Library Training Hub, located on the second floor. The growing popularity of e-Readers has expanded with the availability of titles, and OverDrive offers a convenient way to borrow and download e-books and audio-books from the library’s growing collection.
The workshop will show patrons how to use the new OverDrive website and provide help with initial device setup. Patrons are encouraged to bring their mobile devices and Carson City Library card number. Kindle users should know their Amazon password.
OverDrive is free to Carson City Library card holders who live, work, go to school or volunteer in Carson City. Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting the library’s homepage and selecting the link “Download eBooks & More” on the right side of the page.
