The Carson City Chamber Leadership Team Set To Renovate Senior Center
The Carson City Chamber Leadership Institute class of 2018 is reaching out to Carson City community members and businesses to sponsor the lobby renovation of the Carson City Senior Center.
Donations are tax deductible and all sponsors will receive recognition. Certificates for certain sponsorship levels will be given as well. To become a sponsor or support this cause by other means please email ccleadership2018@gmail.com.

The Carson City Leadership class of 2018 includes sixteen individuals from diverse professions. Class graduation is set for June; moreover, members will be awarded with an everlasting plaque to be mounted on their project as a reminder of their dedication and support. The Carson City Chamber Leadership Institute collaborates with government agencies, organizations and community leaders to provide a service for the betterment of the Carson City community. The institute features in-depth exploration into vital community functions that sustain day-to-day activities.
The Carson City Senior Center is in the process of rebranding. Through this process the Carson City Chamber Leadership Institute class is helping to renovate the lobby by adding a designated reception area and sitting area for guests of the Senior Center to be able to gather and socialize. The renovation process is currently in the planning stages.
“It will help to bring this community together,” said Patty Chang a member of the Carson City Chamber Leadership team. “We want to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our seniors.”

Carson City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute is one of the premier programs operated by the Carson City Chamber of Commerce since 1989. It is designed to create leaders from the business community who will ensure the smooth transition of power from one group of leaders to another.
