All Carson City residents are invited to join Bonkowski for coffee and conversation.
"It’s a very busy summer in Carson City, with so many projects underway, both in the public and private sector. New construction is a good indicator of an improving economy.” Bonkowski said, adding “But even so, I know some people have questions about the projects, I encourage them to come have coffee and ask me.”
Bike Safety Rodeo for Kids set for Tuesday, August 9

In an effort to teach kids proper bike safety procedures, Western Safe Routes to Schools brings bike safety rodeos to communities in the Carson/ Lyon/Storey region.
'Volunteers in Policing' Make Dayton Food Drive Big Success

Volunteers in Policing, Lyon County Sheriff's Department, Smith's Grocery Store, donors, and community volunteers contributed to the event that resulted in the collection of $480 in cash plus over $700 worth of food items for the Dayton Food Pantry in just 4 hours on July 9th, 2016 at Smith's Grocery.

If you are a water lover in Tahoe (SCUBA diver, paddler, swimmer, beachgoer, or boater) and want to help ensure Tahoe's waters stay clear and pristine, then Eyes on the Lake is for you.
