For 20 Nevada homebuyers, homeownership became a reality with the Middle-Income Down Payment Assistance program offered since May through Greater Nevada Mortgage, a subsidiary of Greater Nevada Credit Union.

The pilot program, made possible by the Federal Home Loan Bank, offered a small number of financial institutions, including GNCU, up to $1 million to disperse among qualifying middle-income homebuyers. His season, however, took a drastic turn last Saturday night when Colorado State senior defensive back Henry Blackburn delivered a very late and, by the naked eye, unnecessary hit to Hunter’s mid-section. A 30-year-old man was arrested Monday for suspicion of misdemeanor battery and being in violation of a suspended sentence following an altercation at a North Carson Street gas station, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
