The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division is investigating a commercial burglary that occurred in north Carson City area.

Throughout the course of this investigation, a picture of the suspect (see attached) has been obtained.

Wednesday morning, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office held a news conference for the media in Yerington regarding the recent suicide of Troy Driver, the suspected killer of 18-year-old Naomi Irion.

UPDATE 2:52PM: A small, 15x15-foot brush fire, caused by a lightning strike, was extinguished in the Goni Pit area Monday afternoon by a single brush engine, according to Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Micah Horton. There were no injuries or property damage.

A friend asked me recently if I had planted all the sunflowers in my yard. The answer is no. They are all volunteers that probably started with birds dropping seeds.
