UPDATE 7:30 p.m.: According to Public Works Director Dan Stucky, the leak was due to a circumferential crack next to a service saddle on a 6 inch water main. Crews were able to fix with a repair clamp. The repair lasted about 5 hours. All is fixed and system should now be operating as normal.

Residences in the area of Northgate and E. Nye are without water Saturday afternoon after a water main issue that has kept Public Works occupied for much of the afternoon.
