Carson City weekend arrests: 3 booked for felony mayhem after fight outside restaurant

Three men were arrested Saturday for suspicion of felony mayhem and misdemeanor destruction of property, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office report.

Charles Lawrence Orzalli, 30, Troy Joe Strand II, 32 and Travis Joe Strand, 28, were taken into custody at 5:27 p.m. following an investigation into a fight that started at a bar and continued outside a restaurant.

According to the Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report, at 4:52 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of East Telegraph in reference to a battery outside of a bar and a restaurant. Deputies arrived and saw a man bleeding from the face and his shirt was covered in blood. The man identified himself. He had a swollen face, and 1-inch laceration on his left eyebrow, and, it was later learned, lost a tooth from the fight. He was treated on scene by paramedics. He was hesitant to talk about what happened, the report states.

Deputies met with a witness who was able to explain where the fight took place, outside a restaurant and that multiple suspects left the bar and started a fight, in which several people then jumped in and began fighting, the report states.

A deputy spoke with the owner of the restaurant who wanted to press charges and make a citizens arrest for property damages on the restaurant property. During the fight, a man was seen doing a head bash on the restaurant window, the report states. Others witnessed the fight and were able to show deputies recordings of the fight via cell phone.
