After numerous discussions and the revision of dog codes inside Carson City parks, Mills Park has now officially become a dog-friendly zone — so long as Fido and Spot remain on leash.

The change comes after many years-worth of issues regarding citizens bringing dogs into Mills Park, which, until the recent revision, was unauthorized.

On Saturday at 4:15 p.m. an armed robbery was reported at the CVS Pharmacy, located in the 3200 block of Highway 50 East in Carson City. The caller stated two male adults entered the store, wearing ski masks, and were armed with a handgun.

The Adopt-A-Vet Dental Program recruits Nevada dentists and specialists in local communities to provide services to veterans in-need free-of-charge.
