Miller Counseling is partnering with Douglas Center for Hope and Healing to offer grief support groups to Carson City and the surrounding rural communities Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.

The Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is located at 104 W. Telegraph St. in Carson City.

The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.

Carson Tahoe Health invites you to their Diabetes Education and General Nutrition Counseling Clinic on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4 to 5 p.m. The event will take place at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, in the Valley View Room on the 3rd floor.

The Carson City Farmers Market returns to the capital city Saturday, June 8 at its new home in Mills Park. Each year, the market continues to grow, and this year is no exception with 11 new vendors added to the roster.

First Presbyterian Church in Carson City will host its annual garage sale Friday and Saturday to support the preservation of its Old Sanctuary.
