The Carson High School administration will honor Dave Lawson before the Senator’s varsity football team takes the field against the Calaveras RedHawks Friday, August 25, 2023. Lawson and his family will be recognized for his 20 plus committed-years serving and managing concessions at various sporting events and other student-related activities.

On Thursday, the Carson City Board of Supervisors approved a tentative subdivision map for 204 new lots within the ongoing Lompa Ranch development.

The portion of the development is Blackstone Ranch Phase two, which spans 59 acres within the northern portion of the historic ranch.

On Thursday, the Carson City Board of Supervisors approved a new Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Policy for the capital city.

Charging stations within Carson City are currently free to use for EV owners. However, with the new policy, utilization of the stations with cost a flat-rate per-hour fee.
