Mile High Jazz Band will present “Cool January Jazz” on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gina's Good Life Music & Lounge, 507 N. Carson Street inside the Carson Nugget. The music is free, donations welcome.

The 17-member band will play favorite big-band jazz tunes from its extensive repertoire and feature the vocal stylings of Jakki Ford. Pianist and band leader David Bugli said, "This is the band's first performance of the new year.
