CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Division of Insurance is pleased to announce that it recovered $1.8 million for Nevada consumers in the first half of 2011. A recovery is the amount of monetary compensation or relief received by a consumer as a result of a filed consumer complaint.

CARSON CITY – Nevada’s skilled nursing homes avoided the deepest cuts initially proposed by the Sandoval administration to pay for serving Medicaid clients, but the reimbursement rate is still inadequate to cover actual costs, an industry official said today.
