Carson City Symphony to begin rehearsals Jan. 10

The Carson City Symphony will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 6:20 to 8:30 p.m., for its third concert of its 40th season, which is on Feb. 18. Most rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at the Carson High School orchestra room, 1111 N. Saliman Road in Carson City.
Carson City emergency crews called to second crash in two hours at William and Roop intersection
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 01/02/2024 - 1:32pmUPDATE 2:42PM: Carson City emergency crews were called Tuesday afternoon to a second crash at the same intersection of William and Roop streets. The second crash happened around two hours after the first crash.
The second crash was reported at around 2:40 p.m. One person was injured and taken to the hospital by ground ambulance. The crash is blocking the intersection. Motorists can expect delays and should use another route.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called early Tuesday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Roop and East William Street.
