Greg Brooks appointed to Carson City Planning Commission

There were three applications submitted in total from Brooks, Dawn Calhoun, and Maxine Nietz.
Carson City emergency crews on scene of crash at US-50 East and Deer Run
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Thu, 01/04/2024 - 8:29pmUPDATE 7:54PM: Three people were evaluated at the scene of the single vehicle crash. There were no serious injuries and no transport to the hospital was needed, according to Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Mason.

Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and Nevada State Police Highway Patrol division were called Thursday night to a vehicle crash in the area of Highway 50 East and Deer Run Road.
Heavenly Gondola at Tahoe closed due to mechanical issue, base lodge open for access

Operations were shut down after the gondola maintenance team worked with the lift manufacturer and project engineer to diagnose the problem, which is related to one of the bearings in the high-speed shaft.
Carson City area weekend weather: Wind and snow in valleys; winter storm warning for Tahoe
