Carson City District Attorney's Office to remain open during carpet install

During this time, the district attorney's lobby will be closed to the public. Meetings with attorneys, victim witness services and other staff will be by appointment only.

Carson City Sheriff’s Office warns of counterfeit jewelry scams
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Mon, 12/11/2023 - 3:32pmIn 2022 and 2023, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigated many cases of people selling counterfeit jewelry. These cases were also linked to similar cases in Northern Nevada.
These suspects often solicit in casinos parking lots and shopping center parking lots that they need money or food to continue their trips. They target elderly citizens in parking lots, using high-pressure tactics to sell jewelry to their victims.

Carson City arrests: Man calls 911 to report bank robbery, says he wanted to film response
