Sierra Nevada Realtors has announced the winners of the 2023 Sierra Nevada Realtors Awards. SNR is a realtor association serving six northern Nevada counties including Carson City, Washoe, Lyon, Storey, Churchill and Douglas counties.

Just because we haven’t gotten our first big snow doesn’t mean the holidays aren’t around the corner! There are a number of places you can meet Santa, and even Mrs. Claus, in the capital city this season, whether it be for family photos or meet and greets.

Eighth grader Mackenzie Harper hadn’t realized all the work that goes into producing turkeys for Thanksgiving. But on Monday, she and other students at Smith Valley School got a taste of what it takes to get the birds to the dinner plate.

Miles is a 7-year-old guy who has been in and out of the shelter this year. He is a sweet boy, who loves his toys and is often found with more than one in his mouth at a time!
