Free educator workshop happening April 29 at Adam's Hub in Carson City

The Mindful SEAD is hosting free workshops in Northern Nevada for area school educators and support staff on Saturday, April 29. The Mindful SEAD (social-emotional academic development) is a non-profit organization providing educators with tools and strategies to support their well-being.

Care Flight ordered for stab wound victim at Carson City shelter

Just before 1 p.m. Carson City deputies and EMTs were dispatched to a men's shelter on Gibson Ave. on report of a man with a stab wound.

An altercation broke out between two individuals and the victim was stabbed in the arm and chest.
