New Nevada legislation makes mental health crisis care
 more sustainable for area providers

A recent rework of Senate Bill (SB) 156 deemed crisis stabilization centers eligible for licensure, as well as reimbursable by Medicaid, significantly expanding access to mental health and substance use care for people across Northern Nevada.

Join Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space in removing the festive holiday lights from Homestead Lights this coming Thursday at Silver Saddle Ranch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. With all of the winter storms we have had, CCPROS has been unable to take the lights down. I love bulbs. My front garden is full of crocuses, hyacinths, daffodils and tulips. They are some of the hardiest plants I grow. Even covered with snow, they poke through and bloom.
