On Saturday, August 28, 2021 at approximately 5:10 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers responded to a head-on crash at US-95A and Muller Road.

RENO — With wildfires raging in the West, two University of Nevada, Reno researchers are doing further studies on two herbicides known to reduce cheatgrass, a fine fuel that ignites readily.

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection will be hosting free household (“elemental”) mercury waste collection events to give Northern Nevada residents the opportunity to safely dispose of household items that contain mercury, a chemical found in products like thermometers and older thermostats.

A 21-year-old Fallon man died in a vehicle rollover early Monday, Sept. 6 at Highway 50 and US-50A in Silver Springs, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Carson City approves licensing agreement for continued operations at Eagle Valley Golf Course

A licensing agreement was approved between Carson City and Duncan Golf Management for Duncan to continue managing the city-owned Eagle Valley Golf Course, an agreement that will continue through 2027.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Highway 50 and Occidental Drive in Dayton on August 25 that killed a Dayton woman and a Las Vegas man.
