Dayton Museum features antique saddle during Dayton Valley Days

Dayton Valley Days is this weekend, September 18 and 19, and since most people need a change of pace nowadays, the Historical Society of Dayton Valley invites everyone to visit our booths on Pike Street, and to learn about Dayton’s 19th Century culture by visiting the Dayton Museum at 135 Shady Lane and Logan, a short walk from the Dayton Valley Community Center. Admission is free.

Carson Chamber Singers to present Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, Nov. 6-7
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Mon, 09/13/2021 - 2:06pmCarson Chamber Singers, a 50 person chorus directed by Richard Hutton, performs the a cappella masterwork, All-Night Vigil by Sergei Rachmaninoff in two beautiful venues: St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral (310 W. 2nd Street, Reno) on Saturday Nov. 6th at 7:00 p.m., and St. Mary in the Mountains (111 E Street, Virginia City) on Sunday November 7th at 4:00 p.m. The concert is 60 minutes without intermission.

Berwager, elected as vice president of membership and event services for lunches, works as sales and event manager at Official ASM Global, the company that manages the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, the Reno Events Center, the National Bowling Stadium and the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center.
