William Gardner appointed to lead Nevada OSHA

He will be responsible for leading the state’s efforts to ensure safe and healthful working conditions by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.

Residents can go to Topaz Ranch Estates Community Center, which is designated as an evacuation site, according to Douglas County officials. Emergency warnings have been sent to cell phones followed by emergency personnel warnings.
