Washoe County coroner: High school student deaths investigated as possibly drug related
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 02/04/2020 - 2:35pmThe Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office is currently investigating the deaths of two Damonte Ranch High School students. While the cause of death has not been determined for either student, the Office says the deaths are being investigated as possibly drug-related.
Carson City Parks Department: Fuji Park playground closed for repairs, to reopen sometime in March
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Tue, 02/04/2020 - 1:28pmThe Fuji Park playground adjacent to the Fuji Park Dog Park has been closed due to repairs, according to David Navarro, Parks Operations Superintendent from the Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department, and is set to be reopened sometime in March, although the time frame is dependent on an order of new parts for the playground.
