The Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing incident that happened Saturday night at a Woodside Drive residence.

Carson High School Talent Show raises funds for student competitions

The Carson High School Annual Talent Show was hosted earlier this week by Carson High School's Future Business Leaders of America students, with cash prizes sponsored by Adam's Hub. Funds raised by the talent show go toward state and national competitions.

Vehicle crash reported at Spooner Junction

Injuries are unknown at this time.
NHP and Carson City first responders are on their way.

Carson City man arrested for falsely reporting daughter kidnapped, causing felony traffic stop of strangers

A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the area of Highway 50 and Brown Street after filing a false police report, accusing another person of kidnapping.
According to the report, deputies were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle that had been reported in connection with a possible kidnapping in the area of Highway 50 and Brown.

February 17, 2020 - 11:30am In reaction to problems encountered in Iowa, the Nevada State Democratic Party has made significant changes to how their presidential precinct caucuses will be conducted on Saturday, February 22nd, as well as at the early voting sites through Tuesday the 18th. Those revised procedures will be the topic at the next Democratic luncheon.
