Artist Myranda Bair featured at LXS Gallery in Nevada State Legislative Building

CARSON CITY — Nevada’s great outdoors are not only a theme in Myranda Bair’s art, but also her life. The Las Vegas artist, whose work is now featured at the LXS Gallery inside the Nevada Legislature, is an avid rock climber, animal lover, self-proclaimed “mediocre” farmer and a natural space advocate.

The sun is out more and the weather is warming up. With that, comes the need to protect against sunburn. Although the first sunburn of the season feels kind of nostalgic on my skin. I also realize that it’s a bad habit to develop.

The nostalgic Penguin taco will be featured at the Westside Pourhouse, located at 110 W Telegraph Street. The Pourhouse will be open at 11:30 AM; however, I bet if you show up at or a little before 11 they will let you in, wink wink. The specialty item will be featured all day. With plenty of tortillas and a smooth delivery delivery process, the Pourhouse will have your tacos ready within minutes. This is a fantastic way to get out and mingle with your community.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who used a stolen credit card. The suspect used the stolen credit card at a Carson City casino on April 18, 2017.
