Carson City residents urged to make flood, travel preparations ahead of spring runoff

Carson City officials are monitoring stream, creek and river flows in Carson City; moreover, officials are concerned about flooding in the surrounding areas located outside city limits.
Carson City retention pond monsters shrink since April 1 shark sighting

The retention pond monsters and cousins of the legendary Tahoe Tessie were spotted Wednesday by Carson City Symphony Conductor David Bugli floating along in the slowly evaporating pond at Roop and Little.

He loved music, especially jazz, and was fortunate to make music his career as a skilled piano tuner and kindhearted piano teacher. David touched the lives of many as he brought excellence to his profession. He shared his musical talent by playing trombone for many years with the Carson City Symphony.
