CARSON CITY — Everyone is welcome to join the Nevada National Guard on Friday at 10:30 a.m. as it marks both the 245th birthday of U.S. Army and Flag Day with a special guest speaker and the cutting of an Army birthday cake during a Facebook Live broadcast here.

The only facility of its kind in the country, the Guest House provides temporary, overnight lodging for veterans or military members while they are undergoing treatment at any medical facility in the Reno-Sparks area.
