A local chapter of the Red Hat Society named the “Classy Sassy Bear Ladies” organized a Christmas gift giveaway for the residents. SET deputies arrest four in connection with felony drug crimes from local inn

Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested the Sarina Welch, Graften James Dodge, Trevor Hammond, and Ronald Nigra after SET received several tips, information and complaints regarding drug use and sales at a room in a downtown Carson City Inn.

Homecoming is more than just a football game, it encompasses multiple celebratory events such as bonfires, tailgate parties, dances, and the crowning of a King and Queen. Fall is in the air in Carson City, and a change in the weather was one more reason for kids and adults alike to get out and celebrate this year’s Disney themed Happiest Homecoming on Earth.

Please join us for an 8-mile round-trip hike that traverses most of the "Escape from Prison Hill" trail. We will head up Dead Truck Trail, cross over to hike down to the most western end of Prison Hill, turn south and then east to arrive at the highest point of Prison Hill.
