Sierra Lutheran High School will host the 3rd Annual Christ is Christmas Craft Fair Saturday, Nov. 7, on the SLHS campus from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The school will be strategically using outdoor and indoor space on its 34-acre campus to promote the kickoff to the Christmas shopping season within social distancing guidelines.

Boys & Girls Club offers back to school activities, learning programs for Carson City area kids

As the 2020-21 school year continues, the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada is packed with learning programs and exciting activities for kids of all ages.

The Carson City location at 1870 Russell Way is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with dozens of hands-on programs. Spots inside the building are limited to 135 kids each day, but countless activities will be held throughout the year.

Carson City Schools to go full-remote Friday due to smoke conditions

Due to the continued and forecasted very unhealthy air quality, all Carson City School District hybrid students will be on a full-remote learning day Friday, Sept. 18, 2020. Students will not attend classes in-person on campus. Staff will receive specific instructions from their site administrator.
