Submitted by admin on Wed, 07/27/2011 - 11:21pmEditor's note: This is a letter to the editor submitted to the Nevada Appeal last month that they chose not to run.
Dear Editor,
Is it the policy of the Nevada Appeal to print demonstrably false attacks on the editorial page? I'm referring to the letter to the editor on June 25 that claims, "There is incontrovertible proof that an ineligible usurper sits in the White House."

Movie Review: 'Green Hornet' slightly funny but a weak stinger
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 01/28/2011 - 5:04pmI was prepared to write off "The Green Hornet" as just another superhero movie, aimed at comic-book readings kids. Well, I was partly wrong. The film now playing at the Fandango Galaxy multiplex in Carson City is aimed at the lower levels of intelligence, but along the way offers some humor and an incredible chase-crash-shootout scene. So all is not lost when sitting in the Galaxy stadium seats.
