Nevada State Elections Divisions Clarifies How Vote Status and Vote History Works in the Silver State

The Nevada Secretary of State’s Elections Division provides various tools as a service to voters, such as the Registered Voter Services website and BallotTrax. Because the administration of elections in Nevada is highly decentralized, the tools offered by the Elections Division must take in data from the 17 counties in order to function.

DETR: Regular UI initial claims down; PUA initial claims remain elevated; Continued claims in UI decline as extended benefit claims rise

For the week ending October 31, initial claims for unemployment insurance (UI) totaled 8,158, down 878 claims, or 9.7 percent, compared to last week’s total of 9,036 claims, according to finalized data from the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR).

Lynn Doyal, 73, passed away October 14, 2020, with his wife Janis by his side at their home. Lynn was born in Turlock, California on May 8, 1947 to Jack and Elyse Doyal. He lived most of his life in Alpine County, California.

Carson City's Bank Saloon seeks artist to turn transformer box into aesthetic canvas
