Third suspect in car chase in custody; found inside school bus at Carson High School
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Fri, 04/12/2013 - 6:09pmA manhunt ended at the Carson High School bus yard early Friday night with the arrest of a suspect believed to have intentionally rammed a Carson City Sheriff's patrol vehicle after a chase in a stolen car late Thursday.
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies had been searching for the man since Thursday night and found him hiding inside a school bus in the vehicle maintenance yard of Carson High School. Edward Carol, 31, was taken into custody at 5:24 p.m.

Costa on Tue, 01/31/2012 - 5:29pmCarson City Sheriff's deputies arrested Cody Thompson, 20, an unemployed Carson City man, at 9 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Northridge Drive and Table Rock Drive. Thompson was arrested for the felonies of possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, a gross misdemeanor of possession of a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanors of possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain a single lane, violation of a suspended sentence, and not having a valid drivers' license. Bail is set at $35,150 plus administrative fees.
