99% Spring Comes To Carson City; Part Of Nationwide Week-Long Effort To Train 100k Progressive Activists

More than 50 Carson City and nearby residents are planning to gather on Monday, April 9, to take part in an unprecedented week-long nationwide progressive mobilization, called 99% Spring, to take back the country for the 99%. Reno area residents will also be meeting on Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15.

November 5, 2011 - 1:00pm Carson City, NV - Occupy Carson City, an extension of the Occupy Wall St. movement, will hold their weekly peaceful assembly on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Legislature Sidewalks at 401 S. Carson Street in Downtown Carson City. Everyone is welcome to participate, and the group has been in close communication with law enforcement to avoid any problems.
State worker launches budget deficit plan, issues challenge to economists

In a news release issued on Tuesday, Kuhl said his plan not only will reduce the budget deficit but also help repair Nevada's economy at the same time. It is a pretty big claim, he admits, coming from an Accounting Assistant I, an entry level position.
