Oodles of Noodles Soars to New Heights

Come celebrate Dayton’s Italian and Chinese heritage, at the 13th annual Oodles of Noodles in Old Town, Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. The two-day event brings together great food, entertainment local talent and a variety of vendor and business booths.

WNC signs three Northern Nevada softball players

Western Nevada College Softball Coach Leah Wentworth announced three area players who will be on the Wildcats Carson City roster in 2015: Carson High School pitcher Kaitlyn Jimmy; Reed High School infielder Britni Greninger and Bishop Manogue High School infielder Katie Gonzales.

Oodles of Noodles food festival in Dayton this weekend

The 12th Annual Oodles of Noodles Festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday in Dayton. Hosted by the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, Oodles of Noodles is a two-day event in Old Town Dayton that combines great food provided by our contestants and food vendors, amazing entertainment, local talent, and tons of vendor and business booths.

The Oodles of Noodles Cook-off will be SATURDAY ONLY from 10am-2pm. Tasting Tickets are $5 for Adults and $3 for Children.

Capital City Band Concert on May 22. Free to the Public.

The Capital City Community Band will feature flautists Diana Ruby and Robin Link on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Boldrick Theater in the Carson City Community Center. The soloists will perform Cimarosa's "Concertante For Two Flutes" accompanied by the Capital City Community Band.
