Yesterday at around 4pm an angel was born. The greatest woman I've ever known passed away after a brief hospitalization.

My grandmother raised me from a baby, and in her final years we took care of her through alzheimer's and dementia. She fell and broke her femur 6 weeks ago, and it has been downhill ever since. CHS students are taking advantage of the beautiful weather, and some of them are going too far with the natural.

A Profile in Courage - Wayne and Ruth Zimmerman

COURAGE? You often know it when you see it in action. You definitely feel it. It can be witnessed over time. The attitude is sometimes defined by patience and heart. Webster writes: "facing and dealing with anything recognized as dangerous, difficult, or painful, instead of withdrawing from it, the courage to do what one thinks is right such as in willingness to live by one's convictions." This story began a long time ago as a little six year old girl in northwest Ohio. Bonnie Zimmerman was in first grade with me and I loved her. She seemed vulnerable and in need of friendship support.

John Bullis: What is a SCIN?

A Self Cancelling Installment Note (SCIN) is a special estate planning item. If the owner of property, usually common stock in a business, wants to “freeze” (set the value) of the stock for death tax purposes, it might be appropriate to consider using a SCIN. However, there are some special rules to observe (what a surprise).
