Heading into the weekend, there’s a mountain of activities around the Carson City region over the next three days, including HopeFest9 on Friday, dirt bike races at Fuji Park, a job fair at Eagle Valley Children's Home, and the final weekend of the Jazz and Beyond festival and Levitt AMP outdoor concert series at the Brewery Arts Center.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of events around the Carson City region over the next three days, including the Carson City Fair, Karson Kruzers Run What Cha Brung car show, a fundraiser bike ride, cooking classes, tours at the Nevada State Museum, train rides on Saturday and much more!

Midweek, here we come! Heading into Wednesday, July 17, 2019 and we're looking at another sunshine-filled day full of activities including Trails 4 Tails at Riverview Park, an open house at Carson City's Foreman-Roberts House Museum, Wheeled Food Wednesday at the Brewery Arts Center with a showing of "Monster's University" to follow and more. Enjoy the day.

As we head into a jam-packed Memorial Day weekend, activities and events around Carson City on Friday will help set the mood for what promises to be a tremendous few days ahead. Festivities include the opening day of the Rockin’ Rib Fest at Carson City's Casino Fandango, the planting of American flags on the graves of our fallen veterans at Lone Mountain Cemetery, a weekly open mic night at A to Zen, laughs at the Carson Comedy Club, live music and more.

Friday, May 24

Join Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space for an easy, two-hour long hike along the Carson River to learn about how the area's early homesteads defined the high desert environment we know today.

This guided hike will be held on Saturday, May 25, beginning at 10 a.m. Go here to sign up.

Have you ever wondered about the tradition of wearing costumes or the celebration of All Hallows Eve? If so, join us at the first ever Interpretive Costume Hike! Come hike at 5 p.m. Oct. 29 along the Carson River in your Halloween best and learn about the History of Halloween around the world and in Carson City!

Enjoy a warm, sunny first Sunday of Autumn by heading outdoors, where you can share space with some of our area's wildlife.

You are invited to be our guest at the first ever RW Round-Up as we Showcase and Celebrate our work in the Carson River Watershed. We'll be at Dayton State Park on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 1-4 pm.
