February 16, 2019 (All day) After 5 years and more than 1500 cats and kittens saved, Catmandu is hosting their first ever big event on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Carson Nugget Casino, 507 Carson Street, Carson City! “Caturday Night Out,” a fun-filled night for animal lovers, will include dinner, music and dancing with live band One Way Street, door prizes, a raffle, and auction.
Doors open at 5 pm. A buffet dinner featuring both a vegetarian and meat option starts at 6 pm. Emcee Monty Wolf of KOH radio takes the stage after dinner for the raffle, prizes and auction or silent auction.

September 30, 2011 (All day) The Children’s Cabinet will host the 13th annual Art of Childhood, a fundraising gala for the nonprofit organization, on Friday, Sept. 30 at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City. The Art of Childhood is an evening dedicated to celebrating children and families while enjoying dinner as well as a silent and live auction. Proceeds from the event benefit The Children’s Cabinet.

Warren Engine Company #1 will unveil a recently resorted circa 1900 chemical fire cart at the group's fundraising gala on Friday, Sept. 23, 5-9 p.m. in the Nevada Room at the Governors Mansion.
The event will feature live music by Mike and the Liabilities Band, led by retired Carson City District Court Judge Mike Griffin. There will be a ho-host bar, hors d'oeuvres, raffles and a silent auction. Cost is $30.
