Greater Nevada Donates Over $17K to Food Bank of Northern Nevada

Presented Monday, Jan. 31 at Greater Nevada Field, the funds will provide 51,750 meals to community members in need. Of this donation, $8,750 came from GNCU and $8,500 came from a matching grant received from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco.
Carson City Democrats celebrate with donations to CIRCLES program, WNC scholarship

There was a $3,000 donation made to the C.I.R.C.L.E.S. Initiative for its work combating long term poverty and a $1,000 donation to a long standing scholarship fund at WNC targeted for Carson City students.

Like many other businesses the Children’s Museum is also struggling to make ends meet. Operating costs such as rent and utilities make it impossible for a nonprofit whose main funding source has been cut by 75% to make ends meet.

Every year, the company hosts a Photos with Santa event with proceeds going to a local non-profit. The DeBug team huddled with Santa to discuss how to reach the children safely during the coronavirus pandemic. They decided to ask children, with their parents’ consent and supervision, to email a letter to Santa@debugcomputer.net.
