Having earned a bachelors in botany at Oregon State and a Masters in rangeland ecology from Montana State, Janel began her labor of love 15 years ago at the Natural Heritage program of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Celebration of Life for Donna Curtis set for April 20 at Fuji Park

There will be a "Celebration of the Life and Times of Donna Curtis" on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the dog park at Fuji Park in Carson City. Curtis died Nov. 1, 2018.

In 2013, Donna Curtis spearheaded the purchase of a memorial bench on behalf of Carson City Democratic Women in the new off-leash dog park at the west end of Fuji Park.
