St Peter's to Dedicate Community Labyrinth
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Sat, 05/04/2019 - 10:19amSt. Peter’s Episcopal Church will be celebrating the dedication of its newly built Community Labyrinth on May 4, 2019 with a service beginning at 12:30 in the afternoon. The members of St. Peter’s parish invite you to join them in walking the labyrinth beginning at 1 in the afternoon as a participant of the World Labyrinth Day- Walk as One at 1 campaign. Members of the parish will be on hand to share stories about the church. St Peter’s Memorial Bricks and Commemorative Coins will also be for sale during this event. St. Peter’s is located at 314 N. Division Street in Carson City.
Senator Square: Carson High School's Carneta yearbook staff have successful year

At the end of the week before Spring Break, at 8:30 p.m., the final pages were submitted, and the book was officially finished. After months of interviewing, photographing, and editing, the book is currently being printed by Walsworth Publishing Co., in Marceline, Kansas.
Gilson Going Solo at PLNU Chamber Orchestra Concerto Concert

Such is not a new experience for 2018 Sierra Lutheran High School alumna Aleyna Gilson, who will find the spotlight on her again at the end of this month when she performs Mendelssohn’s concerto in E minor at the Orchestra Concerto Concert at Point Loma Nazarene University, in San Diego.

In 2013, Donna Curtis spearheaded the purchase of a memorial bench on behalf of Carson City Democratic Women in the new off-leash dog park at the west end of Fuji Park.
Nevada exceeds 2018 performance employment measures for assisting dislocated workers

Carson City HOSA students compete in state competition, take home 6 chapter awards

There were a total of 74 students from Carson High School (CHS), 6 from Pioneer High School (PHS) and 13 from Carson Middle School (CMS). More than 1,000 students from across the state of Nevada competed in more than 40 medical competition events.
