December 3, 2022 - 4:00pm Save the Date! Come to support those less fortunate in your community and enjoy a hot meal before or after the tree lighting at the Capital.
Artisans and volunteers have been working hard throughout the year, creating some very special projects to choose as a reminder there are many empty bowls in our community.
Empty Bowls takes place Friday, Dec. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. inside the Carson Mall.
The cost to attend is a $15 donation which includes a special handmade bowl and dinner.
All proceeds benefit the FISH Food Bank and Family Dining Room in Carson City.
Empty Bowls Project of Carson City - Make a Bowl Event

October 19, 2013 (All day) Local artists, young and old are donating handmade bowls for a fund raising event that will be held during the Capital Tree Lighting ceremony on December 6th, 2013.
Restaurants are providing the soup and bread that will fill our Empty Bowls. For a minimum donation of $10, you may select one of the bowls and enjoy a warm winter meal to launch the holiday season. The artisan bowl is yours to keep as a reminder that there are empty bowls in our community. There will also be an art auction at the event!
