Nationally Recognized Classical Concert Series Announces In-Person Performances
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Tue, 07/28/2020 - 11:05amClassical Tahoe, a celebration of classical music that aims to enrich the cultural and community vitality of Lake Tahoe, is adapting its annual Orchestra Festival to a Chamber Music Series in Incline Village from July 30 to August 16. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the careers of musicians and artists, the performance nonprofit seeks to bring awareness on how chamber groups can perform safely for the community while providing a transformative, intimate music experience.
Carson City Symphony releases Project Euterpe Episode 3 with Russian String Quartet

This recital was performed in a Carson City home on March 15, 2019, and features Mikhail Bondarev and Ekaterina Belisova, violin; Alexi Popov, viola; and Anton Andreev, cello.
Carson City Symphony to feature 'LatinXpressions' concert Sunday at community center

William Street in Carson City. The concert highlights music and dance of Latin America as well as classical compositions.

Consort Canzona early music ensemble begins rehearsals at Carson City Senior Center for spring concert

The program features Madrigals from the Renaissance through the Baroque, and includes separate and combined instrumental and vocal selections. Chamber Orchestra Students returned from their successful regional music festival in San Francisco, several CHS students enjoyed job shadowing with Nevada Legislators, and May 21 offered students access to its job and career fair throughout the day.

Grab summer with both hands and go enjoy this beautiful city. The Brewery Arts Center brings Dennis Johnson and the Mississippi Ramblers to the stage for tonight’s free concert. Check out the Railroad Museum for your fill of music and antique motor cars.
