Biden Supporters in Northern Nevada Organize Raft Parade

This Sunday, Oct. 4, Biden supporters in Northern Nevada will be #RaftingForBiden along the Truckee River. Supporters have organized this socially distant outdoor event to show support for the Vice President and Senator Harris and to register volunteers for the campaign. Reno airport authority: Trump rally ‘may not proceed,’ violates state’s 50-person public gathering limit

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority has advised the company that leases the hangar where President Donald Trump had planned to hold a campaign rally on Saturday that the event is in violation of a state directive limiting gatherings to 50 people and that it cannot proceed.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region over the next three days, including Hot August Nights Kickoff Rallies in Virginia City, history walks at Mormon Station Park, pickleball at the Carson City MAC, concerts at the Brewery Arts Center and TJ’s Corral, a Muscle Powered Sunday morning bike ride and more!

Salvation Army, Walmart to hold 'Stuff the Bus' school supply drive Saturday in Gardnerville

The Salvation Army is holding school supply drives at approximately 3,000 locations across the country, including Saturday, August 3 at the Walmart store in Gardnerville.

Aaron Sims to host campaign kickoff BBQ for mayoral candidacy

The public is invited to join us for the official campaign Kickoff for Aaron Sims who will be declaring his candidacy for Mayor of Carson City.

This event will be a barbecue and a speaking engagement. We will have good food and music. It is Saturday, July 20.

The event will be held at the Firefighters Memorial on the East side of Mills Park. Entrance is just off of Saliman Rd across from the high school. We are asking for an RSVP which you can do by following the link to the facebook event at the bottom.

Doors open at 11:30AM and the event will start at noon.

Toiletry Tuesday - A Rescue Campaign Event

Obama’s campaign stop, to be followed by another event tomorrow in Las Vegas, comes to the state with the highest unemployment rate in the nation at 12 percent.
