Carson Valley sets eyes on Main Street Gardnerville Fall Fest

October 6, 2018 - 9:00am GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — It wouldn't be fall in the Carson Valley without the annual Scarecrow and Harvest Festival hosted by Main Street Gardens and East Fork Gallery. Or the Annual Slaughterhouse Lane Coffin and Stretcher Races.
This year Main Street Gardnerville has combined all these events into one big festival called Main Street Fall Fest, with more music, activities, demonstrations and vendors at Heritage Park on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Enjoy the last of our balmy evenings with the Mark Castro Band on the stage at Living the Good Life. Let Mike Thomas wow you with tales of ‘Undersea Wonders’ during his presentation at the Plaza. Rockabilly takes the stage at Sassafras when the Scoundrels from Vegas get started around 8:30 p.m. Meet Michael Malley at the artist reception celebrating his exhibit 'Silver State Swimmer' in the Community Center Sierra Room.

Camels and Hot Air Balloons are right around the corner, but first enjoy Thursday in Carson City. Some live music with In Stride at Comma Coffee is a relaxing way to spend a lunch hour. Hick’ry Switch makes dinner on the veranda at Adele’s even more enjoyable. Let Tom Miller entertain you at Living the Good Life. Kids will have fun at the Carson Mall making scarecrows or at the Carson Library building things with Legos.
