Man injured in apparent accidental gunfire incident at North Carson gun store
UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded late Tuesday morning to a report of an accidental discharge of a firearm inside a Carson City gun store.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m. dispatch reported the incident was at Wild Bill's Gun Too in the 1900 block of North Carson Street. The man was injured by glass fragments, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
The customer accidentally discharged a weapon, among several, he brought in, according to a store manager, and that the discharge incident was not in front of an employee.
No one else was injured. The man taken to the hospital to get checked out, the sheriff added.
Arriving Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies stated they arrived to the accidental gunshot fire inside and everything inside was secured and there was no threat.
