Fish without a Nevada fishing license, visit a Nevada State Park for free this Saturday

Free Fishing Day is your one chance during the year to get hooked for free. Nevada Department of Wildlife hosts its annual Free Fishing Day this Saturday, June 10. Anglers may fish in any public water in the state without a fishing license. All limits and other regulations apply.

In addition to free fishing on all Nevada public waters, Nevada State Parks will have free admission for Discover Nevada State Parks Day.

Nevada residents and visitors are invited to “Discover Nevada State Parks” also this Saturday, June 10. Park visitors will receive free day-use admission and free fishing (no license required) at all of Nevada’s State Parks.

The statewide event encourages Nevadans to discover the many exciting and affordable recreation opportunities right in their own backyards.

Discover Nevada State Parks Day is also an opportunity for visitors to take the passport challenge and add a stamp to their passport booklet, or if they don’t have one yet, to pick one up while visiting any state park. Once visitors have their passports stamped at 15 different parks, they earn a free annual day-use pass to all Nevada State Parks.

For more information about Nevada State Parks, please visit parks.nv.gov.
