NHP seeks witnesses to motorcycle crash Saturday in Dayton that left rider seriously injured
The Nevada Highway Patrol is asking for help from witnesses of a motorcycle crash that left a rider seriously injured on Saturday on Highway 50 in Dayton.
On Saturday, April 4, 2020, at approximately 6:10 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to a serious injury crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle on US-50 and Ambrose Lane in Dayton.
The preliminary investigation shows a grey 2012 Ram pickup truck was traveling westbound on US-50 in the left turn lane for Ambrose Lane. A black 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on US-50 in the far right travel lane.
The Ram pickup truck made a left turn and the Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck the rear of the pickup truck. The motorcycle rider was ejected and transported with substantial injuries.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is seeking additional witnesses to this crash.
